When measuring for a coat please note that the measurement along the spine is all I need.  This is the length.  There is a big difference around the neck and across the chest panel between a 28" and a 30"  

I have 4 patterns ...

18/20/22 Inch - this does not have a chest panel.

24 Inch - 24 inches along the spine and has a chest panel.

26/27/28 - 26/27/28 inches along the spine and has a chest panel.

30/32 - 30/32 inches along the spine and has a chest panel.

34 Inch - For this length I use the 30/32" pattern but add 2 inches around the neck and this gives another 2 inches across the chest panel.
